XO Corner Steadies

I purchased the Ark XO Corner Stedies - 33-inch version - for my MDC XT16HR OGE trailer.

I upgraded to these because the XO Corner Steadies are designed to do more than just stabilize the trailer. They can lift a corner or side of the trailer for wheel maintenance and more aggressive leveling, which is something the original factory steady jacks are not designed to do.

The hole pattern and overall size matched perfectly with the factory welded brackets for the original steady jacks. The only modification I made was enlarging the mounting holes on the XO Corner Steadies so I could reuse the original factory bolts, which are larger than the bolts supplied with the XO Corner Steadies.

On the rear steadies, the XO Corner Steadies do contact the rock bar. I solved this by moving the rock bar forward and using the existing front hole as the rear mounting hole for the bar. This moves the bar forward by only about 4 inches and requires drilling just four new 11 mm holes through the galvanized supports.

Drilling through the supports is slow, but manageable if you take your time. Once completed, the 33-inch XO Corner Steadies fold up perfectly.

Self inflicted problem with 33” steady on Mdc 19 was dealt with grace from Australian Headquarters!

They worked great. I was able to level my travel trailer without any blocking.

Installed on MDC 2026 XT16HR ISLAND Off-Grid Extreme. The rear stabilizers will no fold up to the front of the trailer. The rock guard on the trailer is in the way.
